Childhood neglect - recognition and a multi-agency response

This course is aimed at all multi-agency practitioners who have a responsibility to identify and act upon signs of neglect.

  • Considering the debate regarding neglect and early brain development.
  • Neglect as a feature of Serious Case Reviews including learning from the death of Kyra Ishaq resulting from extreme malnutrition.
  • Neglect and the law.
  • Tools to assess and respond to neglect.
